Who we help

Practical testing for places where people work, stay and visit.

We make the process manageable whether you have a small office, a rental property or equipment spread across a busy site.

01

Businesses & workplaces

Test computers, kitchen appliances, tools and other electrical equipment used by staff and visitors.

02

Landlords & accommodation

Create a clear record of inspected equipment across rented homes, supported accommodation and communal areas.

03

Community & public spaces

Support schools, halls, charities, hospitality venues and organisations with varied equipment and users.

More than plugging in a tester

Each item is looked at, tested and recorded.

Some faults are visible and others need an electrical test. A useful PAT visit combines both and leaves you with records you can actually use.

01

Visual inspection

Check the plug, cable, casing and signs of damage, misuse or unsuitable repairs.

02

Electrical testing

Carry out the appropriate tests for the equipment type using calibrated specialist equipment.

03

Pass or fail labelling

Clearly identify the result and help prevent failed equipment being returned to normal use.

04

Digital asset record

Provide a clear report of the items tested, results and any equipment that needs attention.

PAT testing from £49 + VAT.

Pricing starts at £49 + VAT for up to 10 items. Larger jobs are quoted according to item numbers, location, access and site requirements.

Common questions

A few things customers usually ask.

Is PAT testing a legal requirement?

The law requires employers to maintain electrical equipment so it does not cause danger, but it does not prescribe PAT testing or automatic annual testing for every item. Inspection and testing should form part of a sensible, risk-based maintenance approach.

Does every item need testing every year?

No. The appropriate frequency depends on the equipment, how often it moves, how it is used and the environment. A regularly used power tool is different from a monitor that stays on the same desk.

Does testing include extension leads and chargers?

These items can be included. We agree what is in scope and test accessible equipment using the checks appropriate to its type.

What happens if something fails?

The item is clearly identified and the result is recorded. It should be removed from normal use until it has been repaired by a competent person or replaced, after which we can retest it.
